Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.

PSSA Gala Days
Years 3 to 6 students at St Ives Public School can participate in sports gala days each term, representing the school in teams like NRL, Softball, Cricket, Netball, and Soccer.
Students will trial for selection each year, with gala days held twice each term at local ovals and courts.
Harmony Day at SIPS
Our wonderful students, staff and community have celebrated Harmony Day at St Ives Public School with beautiful cultural costumes. The school office foyer has been beautifully decorated with paper chains and flowers and messages saying "Hello" in many languages. We feel very lucky to have an incredible range of cultures and languages here at our school!
