Our principal and staff

The Leadership team lead by our Principal Kelly McGowan focuses on helping students succeed.  We have created a friendly and supportive environment where students can enjoy learning and feel safe.  Our wonderful teachers not only teach subjects but also encourage students to love learning and challenge them to do their best.

The school office staff is here to help with everyday questions. If you’re not sure who to ask, they can point you in the right direction. They deal with things like school events, student enrolment, medical, sickbay and awards.

Facilities and resources

Our facilities and resources support the growth of every student. St Ives Public School offers a secure environment located conveniently next to St Ives High School.   With two tennis courts and a full size oval our students enjoy tennis lessons after school.  They have the ability to use the oval during recess and lunch time breaks. We have an extensive list of extracurricular providers from Music, Stem, Tennis and Chinese school to name a few.
